  28. Description of the Modification
  29. -------------------------------
  30. This modification simply uses one of id's original textures to create 
  31. flowing lava for Quake, a much needed addition.

  34. How to Install the Modification
  35. -------------------------------
  36. To use the textures:
  37. Take the .pcx files in the lavas.zip file, and use NEWWAD1.3 or better to
  38. insert them into your favorite texture wad.  I've even included the script
  39. file.  That's it!

  41. Oh yeah, and use a really cool editor like Quest to start churning out 
  42. awesome levels.

  45. Technical Details
  46. -----------------
  47. I simply took one of id's textures (*lava) and stretched it a bit, then
  48. made an old Doom style animation sequence 10 frames long.  You'll see how it
  49. works when you download NewWad1.x.

  52. It's very easy to make these modifications, so I may/may not release other 
  53. flowing textures.  Maybe if lots of people ask for it.
